5 South Short Stay Unit

The new 5 South Short Stay Unit (Elevator C, Level 5) is a 13-bed adult medical observation unit that will serve patients on an outpatient basis. Come to the open house today, from 1 to 3 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 1. The unit will open next Wednesday, Sept. 7. Read more about the new unit.

 

Documentation of abnormal laboratory results

It is important to consider whether abnormal lab results will cause the need for ongoing monitoring during the patient’s stay, additional evaluation (tests or consults), or further treatment. Read more about documenting abnormal lab results.
