The Dare to Discover campaign showcases researchers, scholars, and creators from across the UI who were nominated by a mentor or colleague. Read the profiles of the students contributing to UI Health Care’s tradition of excellence in research.

  • The Joint Commission is here. Remember safe medication practices. Label medications not immediately administered. Make sure medications are secure at all times. Follow appropriate medication wasting protocol. Be aware of non-opioid pain management options. Remove patient labels from waste bags.
  • The Hawkeye Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center is seeking applications for its pilot grant program. Applications are due by Wednesday, Feb. 1.
