Parking Ramp 2 temporary closure this weekend

Parking Ramp 2 will be closed for maintenance from 6 p.m. today until 3 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19. Vehicles will not be able to enter the ramp after 4 p.m. today, and those not removed by 6 p.m. will be relocated. Questions? Email or call 319-335-1475.

After quick diagnosis and treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, Christopher is riding his bike again

Christopher came to see us for a hip issue. When the doctor noticed Christopher’s hand shaking, he got in right away to see our hand and wrist experts. It was carpal tunnel syndrome. Now, with his hip and hand issues resolved, Christopher is back on his bike.

Grateful patient letter: ‘She was pretty special’

Lisa Hughes, RN-BC, staff nurse, was nominated for a DAISY Award by a grateful patient: “Lisa was so funny. … Her compassion and kindness she showed my husband was so genuine. … When I read this story to my husband, I looked to see he was crying, and he said, ‘She was pretty special.’”
