Volunteers recognized for hours of service

Volunteer Services at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics celebrated five volunteers on Thursday, Aug. 31, for reaching milestones in their service.

Kathy Burkle of West Liberty, Tom Westlund of North Liberty, and Lauren O’Neill and Virginia Spalding of Iowa City were all recognized for 1,000 hours of service at UI Hospitals and Clinics. Cathy Miller from Cedar Rapids was honored for 5,000 hours.

These volunteers join the 409 volunteers who have given at least 1,000 hours of service since the beginning of the Volunteer Services program in 1972. Congratulations on a job well done!
