The Carver College of Medicine recently underwent a routine review by the Office of the Provost, as required by the University of Iowa Operations Manual.
The review committee has issued its final report. As you will see, the report recommendations largely mirror the approaches to advancing the academic mission that were outlined in the college’s self-study. Moreover, virtually all the recommendations outlined in the report have already been woven into the UI Health Care draft strategic plan, a first draft of which was submitted to the Provost and President earlier this month.
Thanks to all UI Health Care employees who engaged in this process, whether through contributing to the college’s self-study, participating in interviews with the review committee, or otherwise providing input.
