Did you know that we have a web page on The Point dedicated just to this year’s flu campaign?
This year’s employee and volunteer flu campaign runs Sept. 23–Nov. 8. Participation in the campaign is mandatory. You must receive the influenza vaccine (from here or elsewhere) or decline it in order to comply with the 2019 Flu Campaign.
Our flu web page has all the information you need to know about the flu, including:
- Dates, times, and locations for how to get the flu vaccine
- FAQs about this year’s flu vaccine
- Influenza quick facts
- Information about how to use ReadySet
- Resources for units/clinics
Getting the flu vaccination as an employee or volunteer
Remember, as an employee or volunteer, you can stop by any of our flu vaccination clinics or the University Employee Health Clinic to get your vaccine for free!
Getting the flu vaccination as a patient
Planning to get the flu vaccination with members of your family? We offer lots of convenient ways for you and your family to get a flu shot! From online scheduling to walk-in availability, we’ve got you covered this flu season. Visit uihc.org/flu-shot for a full list of available times and locations with UI Health Care primary care clinics, UI QuickCare, and Urgent Care. And don’t forget, you still must fill out your ReadySet survey and indicate that you’ve received your flu vaccination elsewhere to comply with the campaign.
