UI Health Care Communication Training Program: Responding to Patient Harm

On Dec. 13-15, 2022, we will be hosting our rescheduled communication training focused on the disclosure and discussion of adverse events to patients and their families, also known as the CANDOR process (Communication AND Optimal Resolution). We are inviting you to join us for one of those training sessions. All sessions will occur in person. To maintain safe distancing, we will be limiting the number of attendees and encourage you to reserve your post as soon as possible. All sessions will take place in the Staley East Room (Elevator F, Level 8).

All sessions will provide the same information. Individuals only need to attend one session to complete the training. If you attended the previous CANDOR training, offered in Feb. 2020, you do not need to attend again but are welcome to.
For safety purposes food will be offered as a takeaway item at the end of each session.
How to register:
To reserve your spot, sign into Employee Self-Service, under ‘My Training’ search by course #PTHARM or by title “Responding to Patient Harm”.
Sign up for the date and time you would like to attend.
After you are registered you can expect an Outlook invite to be sent, with the full agenda, on the following Friday.
