Research Services Fair

The Research Development Office (RDO), a unit of the Office of the Vice President for Research, is pleased to invite researchers of all levels and research support staff to the second annual University of Iowa Research Services Fair (RSF). The RSF will provide an opportunity for researchers to learn about the many campus resources and services available for their research and scholarship.

Thursday, Oct. 10, from 1 to 6:30 p.m. at Hancher Auditorium

The fair will offer more opportunities for learning and networking than ever before, with more than 60 resources represented. In addition, 35 round table discussions are planned covering broader impacts, community engagement, and other focused research topics. The fair also provides opportunities to network with colleagues while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

The fair concludes with the fall kickoff of Science on Tap from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. featuring Bruce Gantz, MD, head of the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, who will present, “Hybrid Cochlear Implants: Improving Hearing in Noise and for Music.”

Registration is required by Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019. Attendance is free.
