Take a course on Navigating Diversity and Inclusion from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, in training room 112 USB.
This course seeks to increase understanding of the subtle ways that bias occurs. Participants will identify instances of devaluing others through small, subconscious behaviors and micro-inequities or micro-aggressions, and establish a framework to increase inclusion at the organizational level. We will also address recognizing different ways of conveying respect, as well as addressing conflict productively and respectfully.
