Mental Health Equity Grand Round Series

Join Susan Burton, author of “Becoming Ms. Burton,” virtually as she discusses her book on Friday, April 9 at noon.

Burton will share her journey from trauma, drug use, and incarceration to recovery, as well as how she’s created recovery homes for women reentering the community from incarceration.

Winner of the prestigious NAACP Image Award and widely hailed as a stunning memoir, “Becoming Ms. Burton” is the remarkable life story of the renowned activist Susan Burton, with a foreword by Michelle Alexander (author of “The New Jim Crow”).
