Transcription services update

Physicians may begin to dictate (phone and PC) through Centralized Transcription Services.

  • The Nuance transcription platform is still unavailable and transcription staff are using a modified work-around, which will significantly lengthen completion time.
  • Dragon and Epic remain the best and most timely options for completing your documentation, as required by CMS, TJC, and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Health Information Management is working to identify another vendor that can also assist with transcription.
