Project Art announces a new temporary exhibit Miracle and Wonder at UI Hospitals & Clinics by artist Dori Patrick.
In this body of work, Patrick employs unique and intuitive mark-making technique to create fields of vibrant, playful, exuberant, and joyful textures.
“As I move my hands over the canvas, I concentrate on these ideas of manifestation and gratitude. I believe that a grateful heart is truly a magnet for miracles. What we recognize as a gift or a blessing will multiply ten-fold, if only we take the time to pay attention and be grateful,” she says.
The exhibit is on view through Monday, April 25, located in Gallery II (Elevator F, Level 8), by the Patients’ Library.
Project Art curates and installs 16 temporary exhibitions annually, primarily focusing on local and regional artists. For more information, visit uihc.org/project-art.
