Project ADAM: Iowa Heartland is led by Gary Beasley, MD, and Trudy Pierick, MSN, ARNP, in pediatric cardiology and provides free AED and CPR training and education to schools and other community organizations. Project ADAM assists in putting emergency action plans in place to prevent death from sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).
