  • 2RCW2 (surgical specialty)
  • 3BT (med psych)
  • 3RCE (ophthalmology, orthopedics, and otolaryngology)
  • 5 Short Stay
  • 6JCE/W (neurosurgery)
  • 6JPP (mother baby)
  • 7JCP (respiratory specialty and comprehensive care)
  • 7RCS (adult bone marrow transplant)
  • 8JCP (burn)
  • Level 11 of UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital (pediatric cancer center)
  • Level 9 of UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital (pediatric medical surgical)
  • SICU (surgical intensive care)

Several job categories also had 100 percent hand hygiene compliance:

  • Child life
  • Housekeeping
  • Medical assistant
  • Nursing student
  • PT/OT
  • Respiratory therapy
  • Volunteer

Several units achieved 90 percent or greater hand hygiene adherence for the week:

  • CVICU (cardiac intensive care)
  • 4RCE/W (cardiology)
  • 4JPE (adult bone marrow transplant)

There was one job category that earned 90 percent or greater hand hygiene adherence:

  • Nursing assistant
