Faculty and staff should use Parking Ramp 1, Parking Ramp 2, or the Newton Road Parking Ramp if arriving on campus between 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, and 7 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26.
All patients, visitors, and staff should use Parking Ramps 1 and 2 on the day of home football games at Kinnick Stadium. Traffic may be heavy at times.
On home game days, motorists are advised to arrive at UI Hospitals & Clinics from the north via Hawkins Drive due to temporary road closures around the stadium.
Road closures:
- For the Kids Way and Hawkins Drive between Melrose Ave and Evashevski Drive are closed to traffic beginning 2.5 hours before kickoff until 2 hours after the game has ended.
- Melrose Ave between Olive Court and Hawkins Drive is closed 1 hour before kickoff until approximately 1 hour after the game has ended.
Several parking lots near the stadium are closed on game days. Permit holders are notified via email about event impacts to parking.
