Employee flu vaccination campaign extended to Nov. 22

The 7% of employees who still need to take action have a bit more time to ensure their compliance in this year’s flu vaccination campaign.

The employee flu vaccination campaign has been extended to Friday, Nov. 22. While more than 93% of you have recorded your participation, we’re still pushing ahead to reach our goal of 100% compliance.

We’re extending the campaign because we know that employees have been busier than ever, and we want to make sure each and every individual has the opportunity to get vaccinated. It’s important for the health of our patients, colleagues, family, and ourselves.

Here’s how to participate:

Employees can get their free vaccine without an appointment at the University Employee Health Clinic, 1097-1 Boyd Tower (Elevator A, Level 1), at UI Hospitals & Clinics. Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Don’t forget to take the flu survey on ReadySet before you arrive to receive your vaccine (it’s easy—just use your HawkID and password to login!) and bring your UI Health Care badge.

If you received your vaccine elsewhere or are declining to receive the vaccine you still must login to ReadySet and complete the flu survey to record your participation in the campaign.

You must receive the influenza vaccine (from here or elsewhere) or decline it in order to comply with the 2019 Flu Campaign.

Let’s keep up the momentum and finish strong!
