Culture, Language, and Conversation class

Staff Language and Culture Services presents a course for English Language Learner employees as well as scholars of the University of Iowa: Culture, Language, and Conversation class.

11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m., Mondays, Sept. 10 to Dec. 3, UCC Room 1100 (late registrants welcome)

Objectives:

  1. To provide English Second Language Learners with a forum to discuss American culture and its unique characteristics
  2. To facilitate improved vocabulary and expression of ideas and thoughts in English
  3. To receive input on English pronunciation and review rules that will help to improve pronunciation
