
UI neuroscientist Calvin Carter wins NIH Director’s New Innovator Award for exceptional research
Calvin Carter, PhD, is one of 58 early-career scientists in the nation to receive the NIH Director’s New Innovator Award. He will use the five-year, $1.5-million award to support his research mapping the biological effects of electromagnetic fields and their potential to treat some of the most common and deadly diseases.
