Strategic Improvement Specialist

Responsibilities:

As a Strategic Improvement Specialist, Nicole coordinates all aspects of UIHC’s Patient Satisfaction Surveys including new survey development, maintenance, reporting, and data analysis/interpretation. Nicole develops a consultant/advisor relationship with assigned clinics and units to build and sustain a patient and family-centered focus and environment.

Nicole partners with hospital leadership to develop and ensure the effective and consistent implementation of Excellence Every Time, Provider Communication, and Compassionate Connected Care strategies across the hospital. She works closely with hospital leaders to analyze survey results and identify, prioritize, plan, and oversee improvement efforts, as well as participates in the identification of service performance targets and improvement strategies.

Education:

Nicole received her Bachelors degree in Clinical Leadership and Management with a Minor in Health Advocacy from the University of Kentucky and her Masters of Health Administration from the University of Iowa.

Special Interests and Activities:

I love doing anything outdoors including running, hiking, swimming, and boating. I also love to travel and explore new cities for their sights and great food.
