Abbi received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion with minors in Psychology and Human Relations at the University of Iowa.

As a Patient Experience Coach, Abbi drives Patient Experience strategy by working with areas within UIHC to assist leaders in hardwiring tactics to improve the Patient Experience through support and mentorship.  Abbi assists the department leadership in developing plans to provide coaching support through review of results and patient feedback.

Abbi partners with hospital leadership to develop and ensure the effective and consistent implementation of Excellence Every Time, Provider Communication, and Compassionate Connected Care strategies across the hospital. She works closely with hospital leaders to analyze survey results and identify, prioritize, plan, and oversee improvement efforts, as well as participates in the identification of service performance targets and improvement strategies.
