- MS, Epidemiology, University of Iowa, College of Public Health, Iowa City, Iowa
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily surveillance for hospital-associated infections
- Investigate outbreaks and clusters of infections at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics
- Implement national infection control guidelines and standards to help prevent transmission of infections
- Present data and activities that improve the safety of the environment
- Assess trends; identify problems, design and implement specific interventions and quality improvement programs
