Hospital Interpreter
Responsibilities:
Works closely with healthcare providers and LEP patients to ensure that both parties are able to convey important information to each other in their own language, whether it means interpreting for them personally or finding someone who can.
Education and Background:
Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media and Spanish from Northern Arizona
Began working for UIHC as a Language Bank Interpreter in 2011.
Special Interests and Activities:
I love learning something new every day. It invigorates me. I especially enjoy learning about healing in all of its forms. I am also fascinated by technology and all that it enables us to do. Lastly, I hold a special place in my life for enjoying nature and loved ones especially if it means experiencing them together.
