When asked, “What inspires you?”
From the day I began working at UIHC 8.5 years ago in the Guest Services Department I have been inspired to do my best in assisting patients and families. I appreciate that training, continuing education, and staying up-to-date on hospital information are valued tools by leadership and important to prepare me for the various situations that arise. I am inspired daily by the patients and families I meet and assist, by my colleagues, and the volunteers that dedicate so much of their time and take ownership of the tasks at hand. No 2 days are alike in this environment, so I am inspired to be a caregiver and provide excellent service on a daily basis.
