Price group featured on the January cover of Molecular Cell

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012

Dr. David Price was senior author on a study examining the role of Gdown1 in controlling transcription by RNA polymerase II. The results provide significant evidence for transcription being regulated through coordinating initiation and elongation mechanisms. The paper was featured in the latest issue of Molecular Cell, that included a Preview of the work as well as a cover depicting layers of regulation by Gdown1. The results shown represented more than four years of work primarily by the Price lab, but also in collaboration with the Young lab (MIT) and the Gnatt lab (University of Maryland).
