document.write('The Epic System will be unavailable, Sunday November 22nd, 2009 starting at 8:30 PM for approximately 30 minutes for system upgrades.  The Emergency Notification System will inform users when downtime begins and ends.  During the downtime, users can access an up-to-date read-only copy of patient data by clicking on the Downtime icon   on all clinical workstations and via remote access.  This copy of the Epic production environment is continually refreshed during uptime, providing users with a snapshot of the most current production environment prior to downtime.  Users will log into the Downtime environment using the same ID/password used on the Epic production system. Clinicians are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the Downtime environment in preparation for system downtime.
