Please welcome Dr. Theresa Czech to the Stead Family Department of Pediatrics as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics.
Dr. Czech earned her BSE from the University of Michigan in 2017. Next, she earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2011. Dr. Czech completed pediatric residency training at Children’s National Medicine Center in Washington, D.C. She continued her training completing a child neurology residency at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in 2018 and recently completed her fellowship training in pediatric epilepsy there in June 2019. She is board certified in Pediatrics and she currently has taken her American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with the results pending.
Dr. Czech fills the Pediatric Epileptologist position, and her clinical responsibilities will include holding epilepsy clinics and reading EEGs. Additionally, she will help launch a neonatal neurology service and share in the coverage of the neurology inpatient and consultation services.
