Hall of Famer Dr. George Inglett

George Inglett, a 1952 PhD with Henry Matill, and a member of the USDA’s Agricultural Research Service Hall of Fame remains active nearly 60 years after completing his doctorate. Well known for developing oat, barley and soy-derived fat substitutes, Dr.┬áInglett performed his doctoral research on plant-derived antioxidants. Dr. Inglett’s latest paper on antioxidant activities in Synsepalum dulificum was just published in April.
